Your trade Heating & cooling
Jetsy for heating & coolingIn July every missed call is a house with no AC, and a competitor on the way.
Summer is a phone that never stops. Jetsy answers every one, books the service call, and keeps your maintenance customers on a schedule the rest of the year.
No card for the free trial. English and Spanish. Code CRM27 takes 27% off every month.
Jetsy answers for a heating and cooling company in the moments you cannot pick up: in an attic at 112° while four calls come in; swapping a capacitor at 4:30; writing the replacement quote with three prices. It was built in Arizona by a painting company that runs on it every day, and it works in English and Spanish.
What a heating and cooling customer hears when Jetsy answers.
It picks up in your business’s name, says it is the virtual assistant and that the call is recorded, finds out what they need, takes the address, offers two times from your calendar, books one and texts the caller. Here is the sample call, written out.
- JetsyThanks for calling Cool Air HVAC. I’m the virtual assistant, and this call is recorded. How can I help?
- CallerMy AC is blowing warm air. How soon can you come?
- JetsyWarm air in this heat goes to the top of the list. The owner has same-day times open; the look is free and the price comes before any work. What’s the address?
- Caller7700 East Thomas Road, Scottsdale.
- JetsyGot it. I have today at 3 or tomorrow at 8. Which is better for you?
- CallerToday at 3.
- JetsyDone, that’s booked. Can I get your name for the appointment?
- CallerIt’s Luis.
- JetsyThank you, Luis. I’m texting you the time and the address now. Have a good one!
They ask. Jetsy answers and books.
My AC is blowing warm air, how soon can you come?”
Jetsy gives your service-call and tune-up prices and your hours.
How much is a tune-up?”
Jetsy asks the brand, the age of the unit and what it is doing.
Do you replace whole systems and do financing?”
Jetsy books the next open slot and texts you the lead, so urgent ones move up.
Have Jetsy call you — hear it yourself in a minute.
Type your cell. Jetsy rings you and you ask it anything about Jetsy — it is the same software that would answer for a heating and cooling company.
Phone answering comes with Jetsy 2.0 and up. You keep your own number and forward it. On Jetsy 1.0 you answer your own phone and still get the whole office.
See your own website, and hear the call above answer as you.
Type your business name. Your website shows up in a phone, the sample call answers in your name, and the free-trial buttons start with it filled in. Nothing is saved until you start.
What it looks like for a heating and cooling company.
- 1Monday, 1:05 pm, 112°
You are in an attic. Four calls come in. Jetsy books all four and texts you the one with a baby in the house. You move it to first.
- 2Monday, 4:30 pm
Capacitor. You tap it in the price book, show the before and after photo on the invoice, and take a card.
- 3The replacement quote
Three prices on one proposal: repair, a standard system, a high-efficiency one. The customer picks on her phone and pays the deposit.
- 4Wednesday, 9:40 pm
Mrs. Lopez’s AC has run two hours and the house is still 81°. Her thermostat is connected, so Jetsy tells you before she calls. You text her and book the first visit Thursday.
- 5October
Maintenance agreements come due. Jetsy lists who is up for a fall tune-up, and you text them in one tap.

Your customers’ thermostats, with your name on them
Connect a customer’s smart thermostat (Honeywell Home, ecobee, Sensi and more). They change the temperature from their page with your logo, and Jetsy tells you when the AC isn’t keeping up, the house gets too hot or too cold, the thermostat goes offline or the filter is due. One tap turns it into a service call. Each connected thermostat is $7 a month; the demo is free.

Several properties and the equipment at each
One customer, more than one address: a home, a rental, a second building, each with its gate code and access notes the crew sees on the job. The equipment at each one (brand, model, serial, install date, warranty end, photos) keeps its own service history, and a warranty ending soon is flagged.

Inventory and purchase orders
Parts and materials with a part number, unit cost, reorder point and supplier. Stock at the shop and on each truck. The crew records what they used on a job from their truck and you add it to the invoice at the price-book price. Low stock is listed once a day, and purchase orders go to suppliers by email or print.

Dispatch board and crew map
A lane for each crew member. Tap a job to assign it or move its day and time, and overlaps show in red. The map shows where the crew is only while they are working with Jetsy open, and stops after their last job of the day.

Crew time clock, timesheets and payroll CSV
The crew clocks in, out and on break from the crew app, on a job if they like. You see weekly timesheets per person, fix a missed clock-out, approve a week and it locks, see hours over 40 flagged, and download a payroll file that opens in Excel or Google Sheets.

A missed call texted back
Somebody rings and hangs up before you get their name. Within seconds they get a text: “We saw your call but did not catch what you needed. Reply here and we will help.” Once per number per day, between 7am and 10pm, in Spanish if they spoke Spanish. You can use your own words.

What heating and cooling companies ask before they start.
A customer has no heat, or smells gas. What does Jetsy do?
If they smell gas, Jetsy tells them to leave the house and call the gas company or 911, then takes the address. No heat, no AC with a baby or an older person at home: Jetsy takes the details and you get a note on your phone right after the call, so you call that one back first.
What happens when four calls come in while I am in an attic?
Jetsy answers all four, asks the brand, the age of the unit and what it is doing, books each one in the next open slot and texts you the leads, so the urgent one moves up.
Can Jetsy watch a customer’s thermostat?
Yes. Connect a customer’s smart thermostat (Honeywell Home, ecobee, Sensi and more). They change the temperature from a page with your logo, and Jetsy tells you when the AC is not keeping up, the house gets too hot or too cold, the thermostat goes offline or the filter is due. One tap turns it into a service call. It works on any plan: $7 a month for each thermostat connected that month.
Does Jetsy handle maintenance agreements?
Yes. You set up the plan (what is included, the price, how often it bills, visits a year), the customer signs on their phone and saves a card, Jetsy charges it when due and puts the visits on Routes. In October it lists who is up for a fall tune-up.
Can the replacement quote show three prices?
Yes. One proposal can carry repair, a standard system and a high-efficiency one; the customer picks on her phone and pays the deposit by card.
